CECA Scholarship Opportunities

Comanche Electric Cooperative takes the education of our youth very seriously, and we strive to encourage our youth to pursue continuing education. It is to this end that we offer a $1,000 Scholarship For Excellence, and a $1,000 Operation Round Up Scholarship.

To qualify for the scholarships, students must be claimed as a dependent of parents or legal guardians who are active CECA members residing within the cooperative's service area. They must maintain a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and must meet general entrance requirements at an accredited school. The applicant can be a graduating senior or a student currently enrolled in a college or university.

For the Scholarship for Excellence, students are required to write an essay on the topic "How Emerging Technologies Fit Into Tomorrow's Power Supply". For the Operation Round Up Scholarship, an essay is not required, but students parents or legal guardians must be members of the CECA Operation Round Up program.
